In any race, the best time to complete is 8 seconds ahead of the third place. Also, you have to control a red motorbike and adjust it using the A & B buttons. If you run into an opponent and lands badly from a jump, then your bike will be knocked off to the grass, and then you can press the A button to continue the race again.
